Level Testing

WHAT WE OFFER

• Assessment of the four main language skills -or of a particular one:
  • Speaking
  • Listening Comprehension
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Writing
• Expert assessment in Language Learning (English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and French), thus optimizing the investment of time and money.
• The Test measures the foreign language skills of the person in comparison with 4,000 other individuals in other sectors

DESCRIPTION The Language Level Test consists of an Oral One to One Interview (Speaking), as well as a Group Test where the evaluator will measure the Writing (translation into B Language), Reading (translation into A Language), and Listening Comprehension skills (evaluated both in this Group Test and in the Oral Interview) of the participant.

1) Oral Interview:

• Timeframe: Depending on the level, approximately 15 to 25 minutes
• Assessment: One to One Conversation measuring the Speaking and Listening skills, fluency, structure, vocabulary, cohesion, etc.

2) Group Test:

• Timeframe: Depending on the level, approximately 60 to 90 minutes
• Assessment: Writing, Reading, and Listening Comprehension skills

Once the participant has taken the Level Test, California Systems provides a report with the necessary feedback

In most cases, such evaluation is used to design a customized training program, and to arrange group or individual classes based on participant and company requirements.
